Leading integrated communication agency, WE Buchan, has today announced it will enhance its digital and social media offering for clients with the senior appointment of Nichole Provatas as Head of Digital & Social.
The appointment comes as the agency continues to expand its offering, providing clients with digital solutions across corporate and investor communication, consumer, healthcare and technology.
Provatas brings ten years’ communication expertise to the agency, with seven years spent focusing on digital communication strategy and implementation. Prior to joining WE Buchan, Provatas was an Account Director at Edelman Australia, returning home after a US stint at Edelman Digital New York, and as Lead Digital Strategist at WE Communications, New York.
Provatas has led digital and social media campaigns for a range of global brands including PayPal, Disney, GSK, NIVEA, Microsoft and Verizon. At Edelman Digital, she managed global digital strategy and projects for brands such as Citibank, GE, Samsung and Unilever.
In addition, the agency is also expanding its consumer and technology practices, with two further senior appointments to its growing team. Hannah Heather joins the agency as Account Director for the Consumer team, and Louise Proctor as Senior Account Manager for the Technology team.
WE Buchan’s CEO, Rebecca Wilson said: “We are thrilled to be expanding our team at WE Buchan. Nichole is a WE Buchan alumni, having worked with us at the very start of her career and her return is a testament to the inclusive and nurturing culture that we foster.
“The next three years will be an exciting time for the agency as we continue to expand our digital and social media offerings, as well as driving growth across the business. Nichole’s wealth of global digital and social media experience will ensure we continue to achieve high impact results for our clients, and deliver the best standard of digital and social media services.”
“I’m really looking forward to being back at WE Buchan and can’t wait to uncover new ways to tell our partners’ stories,” Provatas said.
